Client Spotlight: Connolly Brothers

Celebrate Banner

Over the past year we helped our client, Connolly Brothers, with a full rebranding initiative. Connolly sets the highest standards for construction and attention to detail, which has been their hallmark since 1880. Although the firm is over 134 years old, the services and customer support offered are state-of-the-art, and the marketing needed an update to reflect that. The primary rebranding objective was to modernize and strengthen the firm’s appearance while reinforcing the traits the firm is best known for: quality, value, and consistency.

We first conducted a formal brand analysis. Based on the findings and feedback, we developed a new logo design, color palette, and coordinating favicon that established the new brand identity. Next, we laid out the printed marketing collateral including stationery, proposal covers and tabs, and a wall calendar. We also custom-designed and developed a new website on the WordPress CMS. The website has a fresh and bold look and showcases their projects using fluid, full-screen photography on the homepage. The print ad and social media page designs feature close-up project photography, which presents a strong graphic feel that matches the marketing-driven headline “Strong Lines. Strong Ties.”

Connolly has received incredibly positive feedback on the new brand. Clients and prospects love the new logo and especially like the favicon. Clients, subcontractors, and friends in general have all commented on how they like the colors, simplicity, crispness and modernity of the new design and how well these changes represent a new era at Connolly. Connolly carried these colors and more modern concept into the office interior re-design. Connolly has already seen evidence that the consistency of the new brand will result in better name recognition in a crowded field.

We loved working with the Connolly team on the branding and website project. We look forward to seeing their redesigned office and, of course, say hello Jay Connolly’s very adorable dog when we are there next!
