Mike’s Technical Tip: When All Else Fails, Try a Bit of HTML

Don’t be scared of the headline! We’re not going to dive too deeply into code here, we’re just going to take a look at some of the most basic text styling codes available if you’re in a pinch.

From time to time, you might want to manually override the styles programmed into your website’s CMS (Content Management System) if you have one. In other situations your CMS might not offer text styling buttons in certain text fields, and it’s up to you to force the text to submit to your will, assuming said text field accepts HTML (HyperText Markup Language) – some text fields aren’t programmed to, and you’re just out of luck there.
