Clockwork had the amazing opportunity to work with the Director of Communications & Stewardship and his team at Lasell University on the Forever Forward fundraising campaign. What a fun project!
Lasell is a thriving college with 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students in Newton, Massachusetts. The top priority for the Forever Forward campaign is to add $25 million to Lasell’s endowment to ensure the school can grow and flourish. Lasell provides a career-focused education with small classes taught by industry professionals and experiential learning opportunities (internships, study abroad, service learning). Nearly half of Lasell’s students today are members of the first generation of their family to attend college.
To begin, we brainstormed ideas for the campaign’s logo. We knew the design had to be clean, modern, and evoke forward progress. Inspired by the university’s crest, we used the same “U” shape but replaced the Lasell “L” with a staircase, drawing the eye upwards. The dimensional steps add visual interest, strength and substance to the design.
Marketing Fund Raising Materials
Other marketing pieces were designed, including a pocket folder, a campaign gift proposal template, a series of InDesign templates that the in-house team at Lasell can use to customize presentations, a brand guide, and an animated logo for use as an intro/outro on videos.
